Marketing Coordinator

Why this role is important to us

The marketing coordinator has direct impact in the overall success of our firm. You will work directly with the senior leadership team to develop the firm’s marketing plan and generate activities that strengthens client retention and drives growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Execute on marketing plans and projects, including project managing, oversight, tracking and working closely with the firm’s leadership team
  • Support the firm’s social media and analytics initiatives
  • Manage all corporate events, both virtual and live, from the planning stages to implementation and evaluation
  • Collaborate with the sales team in promoting concepts and services through the creation of educational literature, PowerPoint presentation, blog posts and email communications
  • Develop and own the calendar of marketing events and activities
  • Ensure website is current and aligns with the firm’s strategy
  • Manage relationship with marketing vendors. Assess potential new firms, coordinate ongoing meetings, oversee contracts, and ensure timeline and deliverables are met
  • Work with and recommend to our leadership team client cultivation programs
  • Manage company print and digital collateral, working with outside vendors and internal resources. (i.e., business cards, marketing materials, sales/product info, kits, presentations)

Experience and skills you should bring to the table:

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 plus years in project and or campaign management
  • A love of data and analysis that enables you to identify and develop comprehensive marketing ideas
  • An ability to write engaging and well-written copy
  • First-hand experience with email, and LinkedIn, and you get excited about things like subject lines and calls to action (we do!)
  • Demonstrated experience working with sales and customer management systems
  • Consistently deliver quality work within tight deadlines while managing a queue of requests
  • Solid understanding and use of digital marketing tools and MS Office products, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
  • Position is remote, but will require monthly office visits with a schedule to start post COVID-19

Skills:

  • Self-motivated, comfortable working independently as well as with a team
  • Ability to present work verbally and visually and communicate with an extended team
  • The ability to synthesize information into actionable recommendations for leadership
  • Able to understand reporting and analytics – including terms like open-rates, click-rates, and bounces
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Research skills are a plus

Supervisory Responsibility

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and scanners.

Physical Demands

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
