The Program Manager assists the WRC Director by providing clinical and administrative support at the Wellness Recovery Center, a Region Ten short-term residential program for adults experiencing a mental health crisis. The Program Manager assists with clinical counseling, training, staffing, administrative duties, coordinating program services, and supervision of staff. Minimum requirements include a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or equivalent, two years of clinical experience, and two years of supervisory experience. Must be licensed or licensed eligible for LPC or LCSW. A valid Driver’s License plus an acceptable driving record as issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles are required. For business use of a personal car, a certificate of valid personal automobile insurance must be provided.
The Wellness Recovery Center is a 16 bed residential crisis stabilization unit for adults experiencing an acute mental health crisis. The program is staffed by a close-knit multidisciplinary team of professionals (therapists, social workers, case managers, nurses, techs, and psychiatrists) who provide person-centered and trauma-informed care in a peaceful home-like environment. The Wellness Recovery Center focuses on skills building, psychoeducation, DBT principles, community linkages, individualized service plans, and uses a bio-psycho-socio-spiritual framework to assess and treat mental health symptoms and crises. The Program Manager position is a supervisory role and is integral to the day-to-day operations of the program.
