Wine is the UK's most popular alcoholic drink – and yet knowledge is held by the 0.5%. Perceptions of elitism and snobbery are rife. When you do decide you want to get into wine, there's just so much to take in. And when you splash out, good wine is so often hit and miss.
We are here to end that.
Wine List is on a mission to empower wine lovers with thirst and knowledge. We help you learn in a simple, incremental and non-pretentious way. And we provide you access to interesting wines you won't ever find in the supermarket to discover while you learn.Who you are

We are hiring a growth marketer to grow our north star metric: active subscribers.
This will predominantly mean acquisition, but we expect you to be comfortable across the pirate metrics.
This is super early stage. Six months ago we only had 100 customers, today we have 1,000, but we've got huge ambitions and know this next year will be pivotal.
You will have experience working in an early-stage startup. You will experiment relentlessly, with endless ideas. You will always be looking for creative ways to grow our customer base.
Growth will be a passion, and you will be on top of latest trends, case studies, growth hacks, workarounds, and whatever is needed to get the job done. All of this will be underpinned by the rigour of knowledge of Andrew Chen, Brian Balfour, and Sean Ellis.

Phone screen (30 mins)
With Josh (founder) to assess suitability for the role, introduce Wine List, and tick off admin stuff.
Interview in-person (60 mins)
With Josh (founder) and Alice (ops) to assess technical ability, and environment fit.
Challenge (three hours)
Final in-person interview (90 mins)
60 minutes for presentation & discussion on growth plan, and then
30 minutes for wider discussion about the role, company and vision.
