Digital Marketing Communications Specialist

The Digital Marketing Communications Specialist, reporting to the Director, Marketing and Communications, North America, is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing tactics that promote Agfa HealthCare and its products to our target markets. This role plays a major role in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic and acquiring leads/customers. This individual must be able to work with and communicate with stakeholders to design and implement digital content and activities that support marketing initiatives. Analytics and budgeting experience required to understand how to maximize budget and opportunity for each campaign. Displayed eagerness to stay current and learn new digital platforms.

This is a home-based position in Massachusetts

Develop/manage all aspects of the company’s digital marketing campaigns, both in North America and globally.
Assist in developing strategies to drive online traffic to the company website/social media platforms
Track and evaluate conversion rates – what worked, what didn’t, and why?
Implement paid search, PPC, and SEO strategies/campaigns.
Raise brand awareness and online presence through digital marketing projects and campaigns
Plan and execute digital marketing budgets
Stay current and review new technology trends and opportunities to ensure the company remains a digital marketing leader within the industry, and in digital marketing space

Main Responsibilities:
Generate, design, and maintain social media and website content to improve readership and reader interaction
Implement and manage digital marketing activities, including email marketing. Coordinate with other campaign components.
Tracking, analyzing and reporting metrics and conversion rates, including Google Analytics
LiveLink marketing content management: maintenance of Sales Toolkit and content
Coordinate internal communications to keep Sales, etc. staff informed re: digital activities
Planning and reporting on digital marketing budgets

Education and Experience:
BS/ BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science or English and demonstrated abilities in communications.
At least five years of related demand generation digital marketing coordination/project management experience

Knowledge and Skills:
WordPress, Adobe PhotoShop® /Creative Suite, In Design ® software abilities, CRM, and familiarity with marketing automation required. MailChimp and HTML programming, layout and web development. AutoPilot a plus.
Execution experience with Social Media campaigns.
Ability to communicate effectively. Excellent English grammar and writing abilities.
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong organization, scheduling, and time management skills.
Demonstrated skills to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously and manage time-sensitive priorities.
Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments.
Demonstrated self-motivation in work habits to self-manage day-to-day work.
Analytical skills for evaluating digital impact and budget data, attention to detail is essential.
Healthcare or IT industry experience a plus.
Experience with outside agencies and managing vendor relationships a plus.
